- Usage patterns: How frequently you use Sage, session length and feature usage

- Personalise your experience: Enable Sage to build a personalised understanding of your situation over time, making conversations more relevant and useful

- Improve our services: Understand how our services are used and identify areas for improvement
- Process payments: Manage subscription billing, refunds and payment history through Stripe

4. A Specific Note on Sage and AI Conversations
We want to be especially transparent about how your Sage conversations are handled.
Your conversations are private. Rach Wilson and the Rise Relationships team cannot access or read your individual conversations with Sage. Your conversations are your own.
AI processing: Your conversation content is processed by Relevance AI (our AI platform provider) and Anthropic (the underlying AI model provider, Claude) in order to generate Sage's responses. Both providers have their own privacy policies and security practices. Links to these are provided in Section 6.
Memory and personalisation: Sage builds a personalised picture of you over time based on what you share. This memory is specific to your individual account — if you and your partner both have accounts, your memories are completely separate. This data is used only to make your Sage experience more relevant and useful.
Data retention: Your conversation history is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, you may request deletion of your conversation data (see Section 9).
Sensitive information: We understand that conversations with Sage may involve sensitive personal information including relationship difficulties, mental health, family circumstances and neurodivergent diagnoses. We take the privacy of this information seriously and it is not used for any purpose other than providing and improving your Sage experience.
AI is not a substitute for professional support. Sage is an AI tool. Conversations with Sage are not subject to the same confidentiality protections as conversations with a licensed therapist or medical professional. If you have concerns about this, please consider what information you are comfortable sharing.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (Australian and International Users)
For users in Australia, we collect and process your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
